Civil Litigation

Admitted in the state and federal courts in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. I am experienced in complex civil litigation, whether it be corporate disputes, False Claims Act cases or shareholder derivative actions. I have won motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss in both state and federal court. In one particular case, the opposing party moved for summary judgment, and I was able to persuade the court that summary judgment indeed was appropriate, but in our favor.  In April 2019 I was able to get my client dismissed from a False Claims Act case even as all of the other defendants' motions to dismiss were denied. 13-cv-11785-IT (D.Mass).

 

I have known and practiced before each of the Massachusetts federal district court judges for years, and am well qualified to assist out of town litigants as local counsel in their cases.
